Use the Type Text Widget during Recordings

When you record an activity that involves typing text the Type text widget can become hand by saving you the need to use the handset keys or touch screen.
In addition, using the Type test widget and command (instead of screen presses ot screen touches) provides you with the ability to edit and modify the inputted text in the script canvass.

How to use the Type text widget during recordings?

• Type your text and click Send
  

• The text is sent to the handset
  

• As a result, the script canvass records a Type text command with "Hello World" as parameter value
  

• If you handset does not support True-Text, the Type text widget enables you to indicate whether you type a URL, a number, or a sentence so that your text input would be properly formatted and recognized properly by the handset
