Record a Command Sequence

Step 1: Open a Handset

• Click on the Handsets Icon in the upper control panel or select and access the handset from the Interactive tab as well. (Read more about selecting a handset)
  

• Note that the handset is not yet allocated and assigned to your script. The handset will be assigned to your script the moment you'll start recording your activity, or when you assign the handset to a Handset type variable

Step 2: Record a Command Sequence

The easiest way to start creating a script is to record a sequence of handset-key presses or screen touches that are automatically displayed as script commands in the script canvas.

• Click the handset controls or touch the handset screen to execute the test script
  

• Each key press or screen touch is recorded as a script command on the script canvass. Your delays between your key presses or screen touches are also recorded in a Wait command
  

• Click the Stop recording icon. Now you can start edit your commands (Group commands, add comments and shorten recorded wait times)
