Perfecto Mobile Releases Industry’s First End-to-End Mobile Testing Extension for HP ALM 

MobileCloud for QTP’ Version 3.7 Features Full Support for QTP Objects, Integration with HP LoadRunner and Rich QC-Based Project Management

Perfecto Mobile, a global provider of cloud-based testing, automation and monitoring solutions for mobile applications, today announced the availability of an enhanced version of its MobileCloud for QTP solution, developed in collaboration with HP. Officially launched at HP Discover in June 2011, this is the industry's first single fully integrated solution for mobile testing automation within HP ALM, and has already been deployed in dozens of leading enterprises and system integrators. 

Based on feedback from enterprise customers using the initial version of MobileCloud for QTP, Perfecto Mobile has released a new version featuring deep, end-to-end integration with several components within the HP ALM suite: 

• Enhanced support for QTP objects – Core-level integration with QTP, including native QTP scripting, fully integrated UI and reports and support for QTP objects. Testers can now take advantage of the robust and familiar QTP workflow for efficient mobile testing. 
• Seamless integration with HP LoadRunner – The integration of MobileCloud for QTP with HP LoadRunner enables enterprises to conduct performance testing for mobile, alongside their functional QTP testing, in a unified and integrated environment. Users can now execute true performance testing based on LoadRunner's existing mobile protocol capabilities in conjunction with the ability to execute reference clients using real devices in the cloud. Users familiar with LoadRunner benefit from a near-zero learning curve in order to perform mobile performance testing.
• Rich project management capabilities – Version 3.7 offers enhanced project management using HP Quality Center and BPT. Enterprises wishing to manage their mobile testing projects in QC can do so with full control and 100% compatibility to normal QC operations. Business processes and QTP-based scripts can be initiated directly from QC with full repository, dataset and parameter controls.

With respect to its product roadmap, Perfecto Mobile has also announced that it will be enhancing its best-in-class MobileCloud technology in late Q4 to support a variety of emulators. This powerful functionality will give developers the flexibility to transition smoothly from emulators to real devices within the same testing environment, in both automated and manual testing scenarios.
